Motorcycle Insurance Quotes

Finding Cheap Motorcycle Insurance

Cheap motorcycle insurance is hard to find, even harder to find is good cheap motorcycle insurance. You do not want to be stuck with a totaled bike, and an even bigger property damage or medical fees bill after you wreck. Regardless of whether you are at fault for the accident or not you need to get reputable motorcycle insurance.

Factors for Cheap Insurance

Your monthly premium for your motorcycle is going to depend on a number of factors. The main ones are your age, the type and size of motorcycle you are riding, and the type of coverage you are carrying. What will work in your favor when getting motorcycle insurance is being older, riding a smaller bike, riding a cruiser, and carrying minimal coverage. However the one thing you do not want to skimp out on is coverage. You can carry liability or full coverage. I would recommend full coverage as you will eventually wreck and totaling a bike is much easier than totaling a car.

Motorcycle Insurance Companies

When shopping for motorcycle insurance you have two options. Local insurance companies or online companies. You have the big local and online company agents like progressive, state farm, geico, and nationwide. However I ride with an insurance company that is specific for motorcyclists. The advantage of this is that the company is often run by enthusiasts, and my full coverage quote for a 2007 CBR 600RR is $70 a month, it would have been at the very least $125 a month with the big companies. So I would suggest finding a motorcycle specific company when looking for cheap insurance. Goodluck and Safe Riding!
